The thoughts and work of Sam Witt

Headshot_BlogHi folks. I’m Sam Witt, and this website is my online stomping grounds. I’m a writer of things dark, dangerous, and thrilling, including the Pitchfork County Series, beginning with Half-Made Girls. I’m also an avid fan of horror, dark fantasy, and thrilling books, movies, television, and games. This site is a chronicle of my adventures as a writer and my discoveries as a fan, and I hope you’ll join me for the ride.

Hang out with me, and I’ll bring you a few posts each month, including introductions to authors I think you’ll dig, the strange things that inspire my writing, free fiction, bursts of nightmare fuel, and tidbits on the writing life. I’m always on the lookout for cool new things to read, watch, or play, so if you’re onto something awesome, let me know in the comments.

I know everyone’s crazy busy and you might not have time to swing by the site to check out all the cool goings-on, so pop your name and email into the handy spaces below and I’ll drop you a line every once in a while so you don’t miss a thing.

HOLY SHEET!!!!!! I just finished Dead-Eyed God and I’m reeling emotionally. I must have more! 1) Thank you for such a great story. I’m going to check out your other series. (And grab the two Pitchfork Tales) 2) Congratulations, you are one of the few authors I actually give 5 stars to in my Amazon Reviews. I’m looking forward to your next Pitchfork Novel. If you will excuse me, I’m going to go hide in my closet and weep until I can let go of this story for a bit. 😉 Thank you again!

I really enjoyed half made girls and I was wanting to know if I could order a hard copy for my dad. He doesn’t have anything to download a book on or internet. We both love weird and crazy books. I loved this book and wanted to get him the book if it is possible.

    Thanks

  • No hard copies yet, but I’m working on it!

That moment when you realize it’s been two years since the last Pitchfork novel came out and you haven’t heard anything from the author in ages… =T_T=

Loved Half-Made Girls. I went to take advantage of the link for Ghost Hunters and when I hit submit, it says “Invalid request. Refresh the previous page and try again.” I did so… several times to no avail. Thought you should know.
